misanthrope 15
Biggest mistake of her career. I don't think people should step ahead of themselves. Especially newer artists like them, but honestly no one should. It immediately gives both fans and haters fodder to criticize. Either for not living up to expectations or for their being too arrogant.

Travis 543
It's generic pop. Isn't that what Kesha has always made?

Echo 326
Especially newer artists like them, but honestly no one should. It immediately gives both fans and haters fodder to criticize. Either for not living up to expectations or for their being too arrogant. Yeah, I can't at people saying Lana isn't generic... yeah on Adult Contemporary so true. that album got boring real quick. Didn't it? Anyway's I hope it shoots to #1 :legend:
Ricardo 7,698
I miss when Ke$ha made deep songs and they were so touching, I felt her lyrics were written for me  yeah it never happened , Ke$ha has always made generic music, the song is amazing, deal with it
misanthrope 15
Yeah, I can't at people saying Lana isn't generic... yeah on Adult Contemporary Me either! People mistake her work for intellectualism because she puts on this solemn front with both her music and her persona while sporting a vintage lolita pout. Its like shes just as generic as anyone! She just comes in a different package you fools lol I don't hate Lana or anything but bandwagons are just....not for me.
KingAlanI 3
meh, standard Ke$ha track, nothing special. about a minute in before it sounds like Ke$ha - was the intro an effect on her vocals or someone else singing? i was thinking that just a few minutes ago. you're dying of oesophageal cancer. you're 18 years old. you're brought into a club in a wheelchair by your drunk mother (who is an alcoholic to numb the pain of your imminent death). you hear over the speakers "let's make the most of the night like we're gonna die young!" screaming at you, and you feel jealous of all the people out there who can afford to dance the night away like they're gonna die young, because you are going to die young. and the last thing you want to do is barn dance to a kesha song because you've literally got to make the most of your life because you're about to die young. :( chilling. garnite can be negative even by my standards but can also spill the tea
GreenEyes 681
Well its not as autotuned as her other songs, which is good i guess.. It's ok, the chorus is weak. "Were gonna die young......Were gonna die young...."
Alvaro 5
This coming from a fan of Lana Del Rey. I'm not even gonna start an argument, tbh. Obviously we have very different points of view to what originality means.

misanthrope 15
I'm not even gonna start an argument, tbh. Obviously we have very different points of view to what originality means. Obviously. Since you seem to think Lana represents something more original. She puts on this faux-intellectual front that those who don't know any better actually mistake for genuine intellectualism. Shes an artist for the basic to consider themselves deep.
Patrick 0
I legit don't understand what everyone was hoping for? The song is really catchy. It's Kesha. She parties.
Papasquat 517
I really don't know what you guys were expecting. It's Kesha. This is what she does. I feel as if some of you were expecting this to be a Thriller-Like a Prayer mashup sung by Jesus feat. God and produced by Zeus. That's true though. Everyone just relax and enjoy the music.
