I finally on a whim looked up Twinkle Song tonight, after months of laughing at a viral vine of her screaming the part in the middle, and I was not prepared. I welled up at the studio version, and literally cried when I saw the SNL performance which really surprised me because I rarely cry. There is just something in that song that's honest, childlike, special, nostalgic, emotional... whatever, about her trying to make sense of her silly, whimsical dreams. And we all have those dreams that just don't make sense. I think that those few musical gems that can make us feel emotion are the most powerful pieces of art. It's everything I love about her music and I've definitely cried over it too lol. It's a wonderful piece if music and I wish people could understand Miley the way I do when I hear it. I ssuppose she'll release something in time for the next season of the voice since she'll be a judge. (Very excited for that) anyways all my good Miley sources online have all like abandoned us so now I don't know where to turn for Miley rumors. Thanks so much No they did the edited version for the tv special, and Diane Martel didn't feel like un-editing it or w/e after that so they just released that instead. I need a new album from her so bad. I wonder what genre it will be?
