Bad Bromance 5,809
It was all going well. Until the last sentence destroyed everything. IKR????? They had to ruin that nice article with the subtle shade at the end. I don't know why they always have to be throwing shade one way or another. Ugh!!!! I don't care what you think about unless it is about me.

Miranda Sings 1,705
"Katy Perry to Pink to Kesha"I don't want to take away from the nice words they said, but Firework, F*ckin Perfect, and We R Who We R all came out before Born This Way

Kacey Elizabeth 900
Umm, I am not trying to discredit Gaga but, what about Firework which was written, recorded, and produced in 2009, and was released (along with it's MV) in 2010? Firework and it's MV did a lot and inspired the LGBTQ community. Katy even received a Trevor Hero award for it (yes I know, Gaga did too so don't get at me Little Monsters). While Born This Way was written, recorded, and produced in 2010 and was released along with it's MV in 2011. I don't think that Katy took notes from Gaga in supporting the LGBTQ community, since she already had wrote and sang a song and made a video and devoting it to them way before Born This Way came out. Firework was a mish mash of empowerment anthem like a free for all.It was never as explicit supportive for the community as Born This Way was. LoveandMagic 1,731
Um, hasn't Pitchfork trashed her in the past? ......oh, I caught that bottom line. Couldn't resist could you, Pitchy? Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."
Alfonso 1,550
"Born This Way" opened the gates for all pop musicians to, well, express themselves.

Emvee 8,411
I'll take the compliment. I'm sure they're mostly just poking fun at the EY drama anyway. Born This Way was obviously still a significant single, hence they're writing about it.
