You're being way too influenced by the media. Where are you from? Spain, so I have few about idea bout how things work on the US. If they do then all of the social progress this country has made under Obama will be all right down the toilet. It's also important to note that many of the justices in the Supreme Court may be on their way out in the next 4 years. The new president gets to choose their replacements. A Republican president would obviously pick judges with conservative viewpoints. That would spell disaster for progressive, forward thinking people in this country. Obama has done many things I agree with but also a lot most don't. Atm it seems people are fed up with him. His approval ratings are low, although that's natural for any president. People end up hating them when they leave office lol. But the president has no effect on our day to day lives. It should have no effect on your travel plans here. Because of pressure from businesses and the people of the state, the Indiana legislature amended the offending parts of its legislation so that the new law prohibits denying services based on s-xual orientation. And if Republicans win, Indiana will set up an example for the whole country.No, they won't. The big businesses stepped in and basically made them change their law. That took how long? Two weeks? Same thing happened in Arkansas. They thought they were going to push through the same type of law and Walmart stepped in and things changed.There is nothing like money to make these bigots change their mind! So far 2 big Republicans have announced (Ted Cruz and Rand Paul) and Hillary for the Democrats. Then there will be party elections for the final candidate that will represent the party. "Candidates for U.S. President who seek their party's nomination participate in primary elections run by state governments, or caucuses run by the political parties. Unlike an election where the only participation is casting a ballot, a caucus is a gathering or "meeting of party members designed to select candidates and propose policies."[20] Both primaries and caucuses are used in the Presidential nomination process, beginning in January and culminating in the late-summer political party conventions. However, the political climate could be in her favor if she appeals to moderates on both liberal and conservative sides, similar as her husband was able to. Stand in the light, cast your shadow.
