Haha I live like 3h away from Paris so it sure does come in handy :whitney:

But I am SO PISSED because I took really cool pictures and videos with with my iPhone (not really of just the portraits, of a bunch of other **** too) and two days later I went on a school trip to Spain where a spanish douchebag STOLE my phone in a bar with all my pictures in it :madge:

"Sometimes if you get the last second right they`ll forgive you for everything that happened before" this reminds me of the Oscars performance so much.

Just watched the full interview, and I'm very impressed. His words completely explain why Gaga had such an emotional reaction when these portraits were shown at the artRAVE.

I guess she never expected that she'd be able to do fine art, let alone do something with Bob Wilson that would be shown both at the Louvre as well as a ****ing sold out pop show in Paris. It's really amazing how she managed to achieve so many different things in such little time. All her dreams (fine art, jazz, pop, etc.) had come together in that night.

I can't get over how completely amazing and fascinating this woman is.

I seriously cannot understand how she was able to stay perfectly still for 11 hours with no food, water, bathrooms breaks, etc. It just shows her dedication and ability to dissociate from her physical form.

I feel like Gaga has a lot of talents that are just beginning to manifest themselves. I know there is so much more to her than what we have already seen. I am excited to watch her talents unravel and become revealed as she gets older. There is no telling of what she can potentially do and create.

I was just wondering why was she so extremely afraid of this? Robert said on the interview that she was crying and shouting. I mean, it's not the scariest thing she's ever done. For instance, singing at the Oscars in front of millions of people seems like much more frightening than hanging head down. Maybe I miss something or maybe she was crying not because she was scared, but because of all the drama in her life at that time.

That was so incredible to watch. She was incredibly raw and vulnerable, really a beautiful piece.

I'd say being tied up upside-down naked in front of 40+ people (mainly men) in order to make an art piece with a legendary fine-artist could be pretty scary for someone who has experienced s-xual abuse in the past . Especially considering this was the first major fine-art piece she has done, after a lifetime of dreaming about it. She also had a major lack of sleep and her life had tons of very high ups and very low downs at this point (it was recorded around the time DWUW was released if I'm not mistaken, which was a very rough time for her).

That said, in the full interview Robert explains that during the 50 minutes that she was hanging there, she was also laughing. I imagine it was a giant rollercoaster of emotions for her.

Yeah, I've mentioned the drama in her life which also included her not getting sleep. So, you just confirmed that it was more of emotional cry than crying because of fear of hanging. I don't think being naked was particularly scary for her though. She's half naked all the time. She must be used to it. I never considered her as body shy person or maybe she just hides it very well. You never know.

Well I guess that's true, but it's probably a combination of all these things. Even though she might not be shy (she definitely has body issues though), being naked always leaves you more vulnurable. Gaga has always said that her clothes, wigs and make-up are her protection, and her medicine to cope with problem's she's having. Strip those away from her in a time where she's already emotionally unstable will lead to a reaction like this I suppose.

Also, being naked is not the same as being bonded upside down for an hour, unable to do anything. It really seems like this was the most vulnurable situation she has ever put herself into.

Yeah. I think you're right on this. I completely forgot about the importance of clothes and wigs in her life which is undeniable. She's so dedicated though. Nobody asked her to be naked. Like during the Abramovich method nobody asked her to be naked in the forest, but she still did that in order to experience it more deeply.

It is really heartbreaking to watch her cry like this. It just makes you want to hug her tight and never let her go. Poor thing.
