Street Artist Plastic Jesus raised eyebrows in Hollywood when he placed a life-size Oscar statue doing c-----e nearby the home of the Academy Awards. The piece, which followed an Oscar doing heroin in 2013, was meant to bring awareness to Hollywood's d--g problem. Now his latest project is bringing awareness to Hollywood's Kardashian problem.

Plastic Jesus has placed seven "No Karadashian Parking" signs across Hollywood. He told The Hollywood Reporter the inspiration came when he was in a traffic jam caused by paparazzi swarming one of the Kardashians while exiting a store.

"The Kardashian family has become ingrained in our culture," Plastic Jesus said. "We've allowed mainstream media to become so profit-driven, we are sacrificing genuine news stories to satiate our vapid celebrity obsessions. I guarantee that same number of paparazzi was far greater than any number of photographers chasing real news."

If you're reading this it's probably too late to see the signs in person, though. Plastic Jesus said on Twitter last night the signs will be taken down by the morning. It might have something to do with an LAPD spokesperson calling the art a "pretty clear case of vandalism."

Shouldn't he be attacking the paparazzi and consumers then?

Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."

Honestly. I wish this was true. I live in California, where most of this happens, and it's effing annoying when you are trying to go grocery shopping, and can't even move your car to find a parking space, because the front is full of paparazzi since a Kardashian thought it would be more conveniant to park in the front, where there is no parking, so the papz can get a glimpse of their daily life :awkney:
