gypsygay 72 Posted April 8, 2015 Share Posted April 8, 2015 That song isn't a real Gaga song - at least for me it's a Heidi song wrote by Gaga - it's so cheap in my opinion. I hate this brand dropping. Fashion! on ARTPOP sounds classic and is very good produced and artistry, it' also one of the songs were Gaga shows her diversity in vocals, she sounds awesome. But i dislike the song because of the theme. I agree it's not a REAL Gaga song but it's written by her and at the time it was exactly what Gaga was all about (ie. her fashion). It's not that I hate the song or even dislike it, it's more about the combo of Gaga + David Guetta + will.i.am that was such a let down. If she said her next single was with those two as producers and we were waiting for the release rather than just an album track we would have been sooooo incredibly let down. Schwerk 7,246 Posted April 8, 2015 Share Posted April 8, 2015 I seem to notice it has a lot to do with David Guetta and Will.I.am producing it turning people off for some reason, cause the choice is too save and popular and not upto Gagas standards. Also the title makes it compete with Fashion very directly which is a very different but oh so great track, tough one to beat. Personally I love this song and her free vocals. Its not at all what I expected from ARTPOP as its not deep by any means, but I learned to take that album for what it is, a rush of joy and energy and Fashion perfectly fits. Don't let people dissuade you from liking the music you love. Gaga apparently liked it or it wouldn't be on the album. Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."
