Every time God is supposed to be mentioned in the book of Genesis, West’s name appears instead. For example: “In the beginning Kanye created the heaven and the earth … And Kanye said, Let there be light: and there was light.” 

“The Book of Yeezus,” which draws its name from a 2013 album by West, is selling for $20. 

“It’s adding an original twist to something ancient and important in order to capture new meaning,” the creators write. “We are trying to cast our spotlight towards the way cultural icons have come to be the contemporary spiritual  figures in our information culture.”
