Just been wondering if any Monsters are fans of Country artists? Such as Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Hunter Hayes, Dolly Parton, Garth Brooks, Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Shania Twain, Lady Antebellum, Lucy Hale, Dierks Bentley, the Dixie Chicks?
I'm quite sure country is Taylor Kinney's style of music and Lady Gaga is a fan of people like Garth Brooks too.
There's something I find a lot more honest about country music than other genres and country artists are more likeable than those of other genres. And the music isn't overly produced, it's more genuine and unlike pop music it's not full of people imitating everyone else and trend following.
Dolly Parton expressed interest in wanting to work Lady Gaga a few times. Would that interest you?
Do any of you listen to country? If so, who are a few country artists you like? Will you be watching the Academy of Country Music Awards on April 19?

Not really. I think it's actually very bland.

People give country music so much unnecessary hate. As if it were cool to dislike it.

It's a shame.

RAMROD

Only listening to certain artists here.

Biggest country music fan in the family is my uncle, his name is Lee.

My Dad and him growing up in Kansas City, but only my Uncle catching up with the lifestyle there, my Dad hate it with passion.

While me, I am the best of both worlds :fame:

I don't like domestic violent themes so I tend to avoid songs like that in Country which is common.

HORRORHOLIC

Country music is my least favorite genre. I do love Johnny Cash though (I honestly don't consider him to be country anyway. Especially his later work) and a few others. I think it's hilarious when some of the country artist who don't have accents all of a sudden sing with  thick Southern-rural accents haha!!! Or what about that Keith Urban guy, an Australian with a southern accent when he sings ? It's the same thing when rappers put on fake accents when they rap.
