​This "overrated" thing is so old omg. She is a talented vocalist, a hard working performer, good dancer, kind and is very charismatic (and I'm looking at the person you used in your emoticon with most of these points). So just because she gets her deserved praise, doesn't make her overrated.

Britney is maybe not a talented vocalist but she is a hard working performer, still a good dancer after 17 years, very kind and not as charismatic as she used to but she went through a public breakdown in 2007 which she is still recovering from, she got her kids taken from her and everyone hated her but still she came back, she survived, she is still making music for her fans and she's finally happy. So don't you dare to critize her cause Britney is down to earth not like your fave who claims to be so original when she is clearly not, more over Beyonce thinks she is the best and all when she is not.

She isn't innovative, has a very easily digestible and mainstream sound, and yes, her vocals aren't great (and that's being a little kind). The thing which set her aside her others: her dancing, has really started to be bland. The likes of Madonna and Bey are still slaying with their dances.
