Chromatislaps 34,851
I mean they slayed on the TF, TFM & BTW, clearly all the RedOne tracks were standouts, but can they take it to the next level? We saw some crazy stuff on ARTPOP (Aura, Venus & MJH), what do you think RedOne will go for production wise. Zedd had already done some fairly complex production work on ARTPOP, so do you think RedOne will try to make even more complex music (not necessarily EDM) or will it be completely left field? instrumentally I expect more RNB/ Soulection Urban vibes with a Dance twist:

Chromatislaps 34,851
TFM's music is actually way more complex than ARTPOP's actually no, there is more repetitiveness in the construction of those songs on TFM...saying this from a producers standpoint
Bloody 64,631
I'm pretty sure they'll surprise us. Their collaborations never fail to impress me, they always take it to the next level GAGA + REDONE = SLAYAGE
djBuffoon 12,136
TFM's music is actually way more complex than ARTPOP'sHow? Lyrically, perhaps. Certainly not melodically or in the production, to me.

Yves 1,891
All I'm hoping is that it reaches the masses so she won't be viewed by the GP as a flop. Mess at y'all keep defending A-R-T-P-O-P
djBuffoon 12,136
To answer the initial quesiton, I am expecting RedOne's technical know-how matched with Gaga's innovation. Mess at y'all keep defending A-R-T-P-O-P Many of us actually love it, despite what others think. Deal with it.

ARTPOP has a lot louder instrumentals and they sound fuller. But if you listen to some TFM instrumentals they are really complex..Most ARTPOP's instrumentals are pretty simple and loud. ARTPOP has a lot louder instrumentals and they sound fuller. But if you listen to some TFM instrumentals they are really complex..Most ARTPOP's instrumentals are pretty simple and loud.In "Mary Jane Holland", for example, there is a keyboard interval bit that we hear in the very first seconds of the track. It continues throughout the song, just underneath everything else, constantly changing and modulating with the chord changes. That touch alone, in my opinion, is more complex than most of what TFM has going on. But I'd definitely love to hear your examples.

That's a pretty simple thing to do
