Radio in the UK is extremely important for an artist.

If an artist fails to get playlisted by Radio 1 and Capital FM they can pretty much guarantee they will be kissing their success goodbye. See: Alexandra Burke, Pixie Lott, Tulisa, LFL peaking at #26 despite the BRIT's and Jonathan Ross.

Plus, millions of people listen to Capital and Radio 1 every day, as well as regional radio.

It's always boiled down to this, she needs to make them want to play her  I'm pretty sure if she released another Hung Up or 4 minutes that smashed everywhere, they would have to play her.
