"He's a father, a little desperate."Denis O'Hare plays Elizabeth Taylor, inspired by her characters - he's shaved his head for the part.Chloe Sevigny plays Alex Lowell, the wife of Wes Bentley's character. Investigating murders brings them to check into the Hotel.Matt Bomer plays Donovan and is closely associated w/ Lady Gaga, Kathy Bates and Finn Wittrock. He has "interesting relationships."Sarah Paulson plays Sally, who lives at the hotel & hates Iris (Kathy Bates). She has a "budding something" w/ Bentley's character.Lady gaga character is named Elizabeth. She owns the hotel and "has a nefarious plan," says Ryan Murphy.Gaga is also a socialite in the series who is consumed with art, and fashion, and people.Kathy Bates says that the Hotel "is absolutely jaw-dropping.
