Then I'd assume she's manipulating the GP into feeling a certain type of way about her, like she did during The Fame days. It'd either be some crazy fluke indicative of a stressful situation or Gaga putting on an act for a legitimate reason. Same here. And this would also apply to every established public figure who's living or known for promoting a mantra, at least for me. I think it's best to empathise first with the person before anything else. And in the case of celebrities (or the people one looks up to), temporarily remove them from the invisible pedestals and regard them as equal for once (i.e. treat them as any other human being who's prone to committing mistakes). And from there, everyone is free to make their judgments. It's their prerogative anyway since it's human nature to hand out opinions about someone else. And what would happen next? I'd move on since at the end of the day I'm just a spectator, unless I'm the one personally affected by a rude treatment. That's a completely different matter. But since the question of this topic is what would I do, presumably as a fan and not as the victim of the mistreatment, then I'd still be a fan. And it's because I became a fan of her music. I'm a fan of her because her music and performances interest me, not because she's an infallible saint. Unpopular opinion perhaps, but I guess that's just me. I mean I find it possible to appreciate a person for who they are but not what they do as an occupation, and appreciate the job one's making but not the persons themselves. I believe I've already mentioned this stand of mine regarding the likes of Azealia Banks, R. Kelly, Kanye West, and Michael Jackson. These artists had personally done things I don't agree with, but that doesn't mean I've to stop liking their music. And I'd do the same to Gaga.
