But now, researchers have revealed it is also the chlamydia capital of Europe. While the Nordic countries has high rates of the s-xually transmitted disease (STD), rates in the US are even more alarming. Since 1980, rates of chlamydia in the US have soared compared to Europe. And while the number of Americans with gonorrhoea has declined since 1980, the figure for the US still eclipses rates of its European counterparts. Washington D.C., shown in the diagrams under its former name of the District of Columbia, had the most syphilis, HIV and gonorrhoea, while Kentucky was the state with the highest rates of hepatitis. Meanwhile, Estonia tops the European scale for HIV rates, Russia sits in the top five for the most HPV, hepatitis B, gonorrhoea, syphilis and HIV. Researchers at onlinedoctor.superd--g.com used the latest data from the World Health Organisation and the US' Centres for Disease Centers Control and Prevention (CDC). Luiz 4,253 Posted March 16, 2015 Share Posted March 16, 2015 here is my uneducated opinion europeans have higher tolerance/immunity (cant even think of the word tbh) due to all the plagues and history of disease in europe's nasty past. plagues everywhere. america is a melting pot of a lot of immigrants and they bring with them unfamiliar diseases/bacteria which leads to wider spread of diseases including STDs. sorry i'm just thinking of how when europe came over to the americas and ended up killing off a lot of the natives with diseases and everything. dude i really should not be posting this early cant get my thoughts straight I disapprove of what you say, but will defend to the death your right to say it.
