Does Lady GaGa know how to tracklist properly?

I'm not sure why you thought so but ARTPOP had the best tracklist of her albums. The songs with the same key were put in sequence and that was very comfortable listening to as the transitions were very natural. Also she said that the album was designed to be listened from the beginning to the end which they kind of succeeded in doing.

All of her albums are well tracklisted, and in my opinion ARTPOP is the best one, especially the first and last five songs. All of them are connected to each other in some ways, in its meaning or in the way they sound.

Maybe that's why ARTPOP is the easiest album to listen from start to finish, as she originally meant.

GaGa :laughga:

ARTPOP was designed to be a reverse Warholian experience, so I think her artistic vision was that it followed through, right throughout the album including the tracklist :lolgaga:

But seriously, I don't think she does a bad job at all, Born This Way and The Fame Monster have amazing trackless! Each track just seems to flow together!

don’t you know my a** is famous

she doesn't do that stuff. :gaycat:

Remember before ARTPOP was released though? She kept tweeting about tracklisting.

The tracklisting on her albums are good but I don't see why it matters. It's just a tracklist.

People always talk about cohesiveness of an album, the critics that is, they always talk about flow of an album, etc. That's based on order of the tracks. A lot of critics hate on albums if the cohesiveness is lacking.

I think she based the tracklisting based on the meaning of the song titles... Look at BTW and ARTPOP

I don't like where J&D and Dope are placed also the order of C2C is kind of boring ( 3 bops - 10 ballads-2 bops)

ARTPOP's track list is her best by far, it flows beautifully between moods and sounds. The Fame Monster and Born This Way (moreso TFM) was very confusing. I mean, opening with "Bad Romance", closing with "Teeth"? Really?

What's so wrong about The Fame Monster's tracklist?

I rarely ever listen to an album completely in order, since I usually just shuffle all Gaga songs or make a playlist with other artists

Nothing "wrong" with it, it just doesn't flow well in that order, for me. Here's what I would have done:

1) Dance in the Dark

2) Alejandro

3) So Happy I Could Die

4) Telephone

5) Monster

6) Speechless

7) Teeth

8) Bad Romance

I disagree... Bad Romance is a perfect opening track in my opinion, and I don't really see the connection between Teeth and Bad Romance.
