I mean compare this interview to something from the ARTPOP era; it's such a huge change. Her voice included, why did she sound so nasally during the BTW era? I can't even tell if she's more confident or insecure. Not to sound mean or anything but she seemed so burnt during the ARTPOP era--as if she was a victim of electro shock therapy. the difference is so drastic. I think it has alot to do with growth as an artist, and of course the circumstances of her life in each era. ARTPOP obviously being probably a low point for her.
