AM98GJ 3,086
I will always remember Gaga's performance on 'Alan Carr: Chatty Man' Her Dope performance annoyed me because of the ending, but her DWUW performance was beautiful. What was interesting was that she had completely different 2nd verse ( I don't know if this verse was already known correct me if it was), check it out and let me know which you prefer? R Kelly's or Gaga's? https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ZjmhwpzCbrY

Haroon 49,685
Gaga's because that encompasses what the song's actually about The R. Kelly verse is nice and all but it doesn't have a special spark in my opinion because it's just about private parties and jets and all that other 'Like A G6' stuff Oh and I see it more as Christina's verse for some reason, that The Voice finale performance is forever ingrained in my mind
Duella Dvil 10,511
the second verse gaga wrote. I sing it ALWAYS www.instagram.com/theduella666
Red 97,985
Gaga's one is much better, the album version's doesn't even make sense to the rest of the song to be fair If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.
AM98GJ 3,086
I agree! Especially about her body belonging to us when she's on stage, at first most people would be like wtf, but the message is so utterly beautiful ( I can't ever use GGD emojis when I'm on my phone) <

Lumi 3,512
Gaga's verse. I wished R Kelly's verses had been less s-xual and deeper, so DWUW wouldn't have been perceived as an "ode to rape" underneath the pine

Just A Holy Fool 2,560
Christina's version for sure. That should have been the collab all along given the controversy that came with R. Kelly. It really could have been a defining hit of her career.
nativenewyorker 1,190
Gaga's for the meaning of the song. But R. Kelly's was cool for radio and it's catchy
Memo 176
Gaga's solo tbh
djBuffoon 12,120
They both have their attributes. Gaga's verse offers more lyrical continuity, but Kelly gives Gaga something to play off of and work against. For sheer dynamics, I prefer the album by a hair.
