Thats like saying Mozart is overrated tho :toofunny:

He's good in music but likes to snubs everyone who isn't from or before his generation because thats what older people do its like a tradition.

Shame on you comparing him with Mozart tho :air:

He is obviously good in composing and I said it above but he doesn't spread love and he is snubing everyone to make himself look more professional and better. That's not what music is about. That's what I was saying

He is right, it was very opera-like. He doesn't seem to think that fit the songs. I can see what he means.

You really should Google his name...

I know he is a composer, but it doesn't make him a good judge of other musicians performances/craftiness. I know personally some musicians who are not very good at this. Those types can be very much "sectarian" or blind to see others musicians merits.

Spock

Wow, I'm kind of shocked to be honest. Hammerstein was his mentor and he wrote a lot of lyrics for the Sound of Music with him and Rodgers, so I would his is the one of the few valid opinions on the matter and should be respected, also taking in consideration his importance and status in the Broadway community. That being said, I don't agree at all, but people dismissing him and going at him with the "who comments" :rip:

He still doesn't know **** about music. 1)He is not even one of the most "important" and "influential composers or lyricists ,he is just a good one 2)He might knows how to compose but he doesn't know what music is really about lol.Because he is clearly jealous or something.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA this is the most hilarious and delusional thing I've read all week :lmao:
He wrote West Side Story, Into the Woods, Sweeney Todd, Follies, Gypsy and many others. Basically a lot of the most important musicals ever. He is one of the most respected and important living legends on Broadway and revolutionized modern musical theatre with the contents and lyrics of Company, one of the most influential pieces of musical theater of the 20th century, arguably since Hair in the 60s. So no to your whole post

So unfunny, but full of stupidness. And no, it's not  humour.

Look I don't like that he didnt like Gagas performance either but that doesn't mean I'm going to belittle his accomplishments out of anger. Us monsters get such a bad rep because we do stuff like this... I remember someone on here talking about how EGOTs arent a big deal because they didn't know a lot of the people who won them. So sick of people here thinking because they haven't heard of someone then they must not be important. It's just like when white people declare something as not racist as if because they haven't experienced it it doesn't happen. Don't make us all look ignorant.

The "who" comments :toofunny:

Ever heard of Into the Woods? Sweeney Todd? Yeah, he wrote those. Arguably, the greatest living composer.

Having said that, I (obviously) completely disagree. It wasn't her "versatility" that brought tears to people's eyes.

Not everybody in the world is American, sis.

And I don't know any of those things you've mentioned because it's not in my interest and I don't have to know everything about American culture.
