You don't have to find a feminine man attractive, but please don't say stuff like: 'its just that they should dance like a man should.' It's not okay.

Yeah but that shouldn't matter. Like Gaga said "You don't need to be famous to get applause." If these people were really feeling it, they would've gotten into it. Alas, only some of them did. I still feel empowered either way.

That is really true, and yeah, some people were jamming there and standing up! But its really awkward to watch when the people are thinking that "Who the **** is this girl?", really people should apperciate small artists more :legend:

You guys are all overreacting about her dancing skills now. If you are comparing to Applause then you must know that looked better then because the moves for Just Dance/Poker Face are so much easier to do than the Applause choreography.

Also, she was almost talking in the chorus of just dance, so it didn't require not even half of the focus it's needed to hit the constant high notes on the Applause/DWUW chorus. She was easily more focused on the dancing than anything.

Even though I fail to see the BIG difference from now? (Considering this is a whole concert, and the performance from 2008 were just three songs)

This is so accurate :applause::worship:   praise

Thank goodness she has evolved and matured! :)

I'm glad you enjoy where she is now. No need to get defensive.

Fame Romance

Lana is around.. for now. Same goes for Miley we will see. I didn't think Sam Smith would last but the Grammys seems to think he's gonna be around for a while.. Once again though, we will see. Idk about Tove Lo's lasting power. Iggy barely can hold on and same goes for Charli XCX

That's definitely what the industry wants us to think. And a lot of people agree with you, so it very well may happen. But what I don't feel like he connected with people on the same level as Adele. But it seems like he is heading for stardom

Are some people forgetting that she broke her hip. Thats a big reason why her dancing at the artRAVE wasn't what it used to be.

I don't see a problem. In 2008 she came to a gay club in Miami and danced her ass off. She was awesome! I was like who is this girl? That was like April or May of 08. No hit single or album yet. Some people got it some didn't. When you are playing to a crowd who doesn't know you well and you get half of them on their feet that is a triumph. Just Dance was just a first hit single. It didn't cement her into superstardom. I think Pokerface kinda did that, but it wasn't until Bad Romance that people were really like... "damn she is a star!" That was a fashion crowd, it wasn't a club or even a young crowd. Most people at a fashion show are celebs and the media yet she still managed to get most of them off their feet with Just Dance. Good for her.

Also for people saying that her back up dancers should be more straight acting...Take a good look in the mirror, no one really likes you. I am not replying to foolishness so don't waste your time trying to drag me.

Like people said.   High fashion show. Not euro-dance club..

don't give me that ".."

She told everyone to get up and not everyone did but that didn't stop her from giving her all. It was an inspiring performance that's why I made the thread, not to ask the question "why didn't everyone stand up."

I know it wasn't a problem I was extremely proud of her for this performance if you go back and read my comments. I think it's one of her most inspirational performances.

Electric Phire

I'd be dancing my ass off and I get what you are saying. Idk why they didn't seem into it, but they probably regret it now :hunty:
