The only country were she could be #1 is the U.S. The thing here is that her U.S. sales are big enough to offset the sales that she does not get in other countries. No doubt, they're bigger. I guess you can say Taylor is the biggest pop star in the US. I have no idea what her tour gross outside of the United States. Katy and Rihanna kick Taylor's ass in terms of big memorable radio hits. You'e absolutely right on both of these points. Don't forget Gaga now. AlphaMonster 1,806 Posted November 3, 2014 Share Posted November 3, 2014 Oh okay, I'm pretty sure Taylor is growing in Europe. she is growing... she can also sell out arenas ( probably not stadiums) ... europe is always much more interested in iconic artists, rather than popular... all rock legends sell out stadiums, they have crazy fans in europe, lady gaga and madonna have crazy fans too in europe. regular pop artists do not have much crazy fan base in europe ... but yeah she can sell out arenas... That album brought her world tours to places a Country singer never go before like China, Indonesia, Philipinnes, etc. So she is really just starting in terms of Pop. Maybe this new album will propel her Pop career even further. It seems that way so far to me.
