AlphaMonster 1,806
Oh, I know she can't sing or dance to save her life, But every one of her albums sell like crazy here in the U.S. I'm not aware of her album sales worldwide, are they not big? In Europe, she can sell pretty well tho, probably not as good as she can in US but no one is a fan of her that is the key point. Europe is mostly Madonna, Lady Gaga domination, they have fans all over the europe... I mean when they come to europe there are an army of fans running after them everywhere they go ... David Butler 0
She is never irrelevant ... Getting number #1, selling too much never makes you the greatest... Artistry makes you the greatest... Plus, in anytime Madonna is able to sell out stadiums worldwide with or without a successful album. Does not matter where Madonna can sell out stadiums in Russia, in Arabic World, in Paris, in NYC ... everywhere... To me she's always irrelevant. I lost all respect for her when she dissed Gaga during the BTW Era.

Essence 232
Widely successful in the US as a relatable artist and as a celebrity. Biggest pop star and biggest impact on music and the industry? No way.
David Butler 0
by the way where did she sell out a stadium ? It is all arenas... Youngest female artist who sold out a stadium is Lady Gaga... (BTW Ball, Stade de France, Paris) I don't remember where, But I remember reading somewhere online a few months back.

craig 680
Gaga-Katy-Rihanna-Beyonce-Taylor all pretty even contenders over past 5 years. Taylor is still weak on number of pop hits and amount of international success relative to the others.
AlphaMonster 1,806
I don't remember where, But I remember reading somewhere online a few months back. wrong. she did not do any stadium concerts... Look at her red tour dates...
uo111 5,261
maybe because she only has one pure pop album? Grasping at straws trying to discredit Taylor. You tried at least.
David Butler 0
Right now I think so I think Rihanna's gonna take the crown pretty soon, and then Katy with the PRISM re-release, and so on The title constantly gets passed around to whoever is the biggest at the moment and that definitely seems to be Taylor Swift right now You're spot on, Haroon. The title exactly gets constantly passed around. By the way, I didn't know Katy it's going to re-release PRISM.
XoXoJoanneGaga 629
Widely successful in the US as a relatable artist and as a celebrity. Biggest pop star and biggest impact on music and the industry? No way. Her numbers are too big (both US and WW) for her to not be the biggest. She hasn't had as much musical impact as some others like Gaga or Rihanna, but no one else is killing it the way she is right now.
Jed 7,716
It pains me to say this but I think it would be Madonna... Just based off of worldwide tour sales. Her new music doesn't really make a splash though. But if I went to any random country and said Madonna they would know who I mean. Taylor Swift, while recognizable, does not have that level of name recognition.

Robotboy 1,700
not at all. katy, rihanna and gaga are all definetly bigger. taylor got the US tho. what are her tour gross outside the US? Remember that you are unique. Like everyone else.
craig 680
Gaga is still ahead of Taylor on lifetime touring income, but not by much. Katy and Rihanna kick Taylor's ass in terms of big memorable radio hits.
