Everyone that attended the PWT says that she sings really good and that she sings completely live tho. 

​interesting how she manages to sound "really good" on her tour while sounding like a dying cat most of the time on almost all of her other live performances

It could suggest her nerves. Not all of Katy's live performance are bad. You just haven't looked up Katy's other performances.
