If it makes you uncomfortable, that's on you. He is just expressing himself, he isn't doing anything wrong.

It's not to my particular tastes, but live and let live.

There is some merit in the Kanye, Manson, and Bowie a--logies, but all are imperfect. Could throw Jim Morrison of The Doors in there too. Also various Romantic poets and composers who took artist with almost religious seriousness. Beethoven, Wagner, etc.

OMG Jim Morrison, you're right!

I remember reading stuff about him and noticing some similarities. Thanks for reminding me of that.

And thanks everyone for your comments. I think Bowie is definitely similar, and Manson, too. Not sure about Kanye, though.. He looks too superficial.

Right now the closest is Kanye. They often have similar views  (except she's pro-Beck and anti-Kardashian). They share a passionate approach to things, though Gaga is a lot calmer when expressing her thoughts.

Predictable how everyone compares GAGA to new people in music. Gaga's equivalent would be FREDDIE MERCURY and Bowie's alter ego ZIGGY STARDUST. And Annie Lennox (from EURYTHMICS) as well. ANNIE from the SAVAGE and DIVA eras.
