This was in 2008 before Gaga was successful

Besides i still believe Gaga and Lana used to know each other but got into an argument so she did this song. She used it like as if she was writing in a diary. Besides she was probably drunk and all. No excuse for a few pressed stans/old bandwagoners to start hating on Lana because of this tbh

Off topic but i love your set! It is so pretty with all the colors!

It's not true, there was no song competition

I have always valued your posts and assumed you know everything, and I also have a hard time believing there was ever a song competition, but do you ACTUALLY KNOW what you tell people here or is it just logical opinion?

My name isn't Timmers

^ because any mention of it has always been by a Gaga fan on ATRL who mysteriously can never cough up a legitimate source

It's a rumor and is only a rumor

I don't think Lana had anything to do with being marketed towards hipsters. Maybe her label initially tried to market her towards certain groups of people / certain publications, and it clearly backfired.

A dance remix in the US is one thing. Major success, sales (BTD did amazingly well in the UK last year) and love for her original music in Europe and the rest of the world is something she clearly is very grateful for, and therefore will remain faithful to those places and the music they love her for. She isn't one to turn and change with trends in music (clearly) so I imagine she's pleased with the success of the SS remix in the US, but it won't make her think "yeah Im gonna do a dance record next so I can be more successful in the US"

Lana makes art, and Europe has always been much more open to welcoming authentic, long-lasting artists than US audiences.

"I believe in the country America used to be."

She will stay relevant in Germany for sure. All people I know love her music and radio plays the sh*t out of her. I even was getting hate because I got a ticket to see her in concert and others didn't. :flop:

Those don't bother me so much. The only one that mildly irritates me is "party dress." I mean, damn honey, get some new clothes!

:lmao:

Not sure if it's already posted, but Lana posted a new Tropico poster!!:

The grammatical error in the promo, though :megaflop:

HOLD UP. Is this actually being played in theaters in some places? Or is it just being over dramatic in the description...
