Young & Beautiful is so unbelievably beautiful.

She seriously deserves an Oscar nomination.

It was for sure supposed to be on Paradise. Somewhere on this she says something about she had 5 songs written for an album due out in November (talking about Paradise), and 3 were titled "I Sing The Body Electric", "Will You Still Love Me When I'm No Longer Young and Beautiful", and "In The Land Of Gods and Monsters."

It was probably intended for Paradise but before it was released someone from The Great Gatsby heard it or she submitted it, or Jay-Z heard it and they decided to include it on the tracklist because it was a perfect fit for the movie.

It's odd that she wrote it before it was to be included in the film because it fits The Great Gatsby's theme so perfectly.  The songs sarcastic undertones are so perfect I can't deal with it.  In the chorus she asks a man to love her even when she's old and ugly.  However, the verses and bridge reveal how superficial she is herself.  She only loves him because his "face makes her wanna party," because he plays for her at his shows,  because he has a great body, and they have fun in the summer.  Her selfish demands of unconditional love only go one way.

Lana could also be speaking directly to the listener during the chorus.  She asks that people will still love here after her beauty fades in a society driven by young people.  We see how a stars career is always at it's commercial peak when their young and they slowly fade away into oblivion as they age.  Nobody cares about them anymore.

I bet she replaced it with the re-recording of Yayo or something at the last minute.

Probably, or Paradise was just going to have one extra song that she removed.

Yes. The deluxe edition of the soundtrack will have an orchestral version of the record.
