Born To Die turns one year old today in the USA! I'm so proud of how far she has come! The success of Born to Die is incredible for her debut! So proud of her! Born To Die is one of the few albums where after a full year, I still listen to the majority of it! Lover you Lana! :)

Summertime Sadness is huge here in Poland... I heard it several times on the radio and I don't listen to the radio very often!

+ look at the charts:

Ah, I bid on two paradise editions of Born to Die and thought I had won both, freaked out, then lost both. Such is life, though it's annoying that now I'd have to pay $16 to buy it when I could have had it for $8. :| Perhaps in a few months it'll be cheaper? Not counting on it, of course.

The pictures represent Lolita more than Cola, which is what I think she was trying to portray.

I love that book

It's my favorite book but the Lolita references were the worst part of BTD, in my opinion. They didn't really have any depth or reference the work at all, which was just as much about Europe as it was about America. She just didn't really try to incorporate it at all and it just seems like "Hey guys Lolita is an acclaimed American-themed novel, right?" Other than that BTD is solid.

Paper Planes

Does anyone have a version of "Burning Desire" which doesn't have like distortion? Idk but the one I have sounds really bad

That's the final version of the song. The quality sucks, but whatever floats her boat, I guess

delete it fat
