I'm buying the physical anyway so it doesn't really matter to me tbh :P

but from a business stand point, I don't know. There are good arguments coming from both sides of the spectrum regarding of this streaming issue

Don't really know. I i think she shouln't for the first days. Maybe she should just release a couple of singles like Taylor did and then release the album on itunes so that if people wanna listen to it they'll surely buy it. After some days she can put it on spotify or whatever

Maybe she should only release it for premium subscribers. I don't know if that's possible. Or just on streaming sites where there is no free option like Google All Access.

In my opinion, she shouldn't. Streaming hurts sales and the perception people have about music. I also believe she should step up and whenever she releases the album, add something to the physical editions, like Swift did with the polaroids. Just a 10x15 picture print would be enough.

However, if you're thinking about charts, it has a lot of effect on them now, so the most practical and easy thing to do is release it on streaming services too.

I think that's not possible since that's what Taylor intended to do with 1989/her whole catalogue and was denied so, therefore she took all her music but 3 songs from stream services.

It doesn't matter to me, but I think she should. She's already rich so it probably wouldn't matter if not everyone buys it, but with spotify she can reach out to new fans much easier and maybe they will buy it

No. :lolgaga:

People will torrent it anyway.

And said have pre-ordered on iTunes so it is OK for them to do that.

:fan:

But if you already have download it, what's the point of those pre-order?

Both are digital, amirite? :lolgaga:

That sucks because that'd be the best option. Oh well then release for streaming only on pay-only streaming services, unfortunately none are as popular as Spotify.
