I think we all can agree ARTPOP production is much cleaner and than BTW.

But also more unoriginal than BTW.

Nah it's a great album. The Fame and ARTPOP are her two most full-on pop albums but The Fame has catchier hooks, more personality, and it's just more well-rounded, not to mention the concept is brilliant. It has real direction and it's coherent, plus it doesn't have low points on the level of Jewels n Drugs, Donatella, Fashion!, MANiCURE..

MANiCURE is NOT a low point!!!!

I agree! The Fame is her only album that does not get old after 50000+ plays :legend: So legendary and will never be forgotten.

That's true but for the most part that doesn't make it better. AP productions are largely lacking the emotion and intensity of BTW, it feels sort of hollowed out and robotic in comparison. Although BTW does have some songs where the wall of sound is taken way too far and the music isn't good enough to make up for that.

Yes, it is, and it was disappointing. :noparty: It was my most anticipated track after hearing Swinefest live demo. I was so let down. :(

but i like the fame by far the least def not ARTPOP.

btw is best for me tho

i think her worst is The Fame and Born This Way is her best..  ARTPOP is a great album but only half of it is really really great.

i can second this

It holds a really special place in my heart so for sentimental reasons it might be my favorite. I used to be totally secure in this but now that my musical taste has shifted its between ARTPOP and Born This Way.

Objectively, I'd say it's somewhere in between.

It's by far my favorite of hers. I can't explain the adrenaline rush I get every time I listen. It never gets old

You realize that songs have qualities that make them good or bad... Subjection is only a pinch that makes it good or bad.

Well I disagree.

- I prefer ARTPOP's concept (An explosive celebration of art and love? Count me in!)

- I do understand how it could feel less coherent lyrics-wise, but the sound of the album is coherent enough to make up for it

- It does have some mediocre/forgettable songs (Jewels N' Drugs, Fashion!), but so does The Fame (Money Honey, The Fame, Paper Gangsta, Disco Heaven, etc.)

oh and I think that both albums have fantastic hooks  definitely one of Gaga's biggest strengths

You realize these that personal taste of which album is better is subjective though right? No one can rightfully say any one album has better music in a factual way, because its opinion...aka, subjective lol that cannot be argued

Yes they can. It's called QUALITIES of songs. Not everything about a song can be opinionized? :lmao:

Personally, I find it to be her weakest. I had big hopes, and really, really wanted to love it, but it just didn't capture me like her other albums.
