I'm happy Gaga is getting mountains of universal praise. I really am. Last night's performance was a perfectly respectful tribute to Julie Andrews and a classic piece of film and theatre history. 

 

But I'm very annoyed that the GP seems to only be able to recognize talent if it's wearing a pretty dress. She's been able to sing this well since forever, and these peasants can only see that because she's finally conventional and inoffensive enough for them to listen? I don't know how their eyeballs managed to clog up their ear holes, but they did.
