He spilled SO much tea with that. I feel the same way. Love or hate it, ARTPOP is a singular piece that only Gaga could have come up with.

That's really nice of him! and very true.

Usually when albums don't do as well as the artist hopes, they just scrap the era and start a new album almost immediately that is full of generic hits.

Gaga didn't just dump ARTPOP after 2013, even though it probably would have been easier for her to just move on especially considering the drama with Troy and team.

She really believed in the album, and so did I. I couldn't care less how many copies it sold, it's a brilliant ****ing album.

If she really stood by it, she'd have released the DWUW video, given us the full ARTPOP app, and released Gypsy as the last single. :manicure:

I'm kidding. Nice words from John, doesn't change his douchey ways tho.

In fairness, those were things that she couldn't control due to her seperation with Troy. She still toured, gave us G.U.Y., made the video herself, did SXSW, Roseland etc

In you were kidding though

But the SXSW and Roseland all happened before the split. The tour was probably already in the making or part of the contract.

(still secretly pressedT we didn't get a last single)

She kind of did though? The era ended 3-4 months after the album came out, she didn't release a video for the second single and she didn't promote the 3rd one at all. They did the smart thing and moved on quickly.

The question is why did he do this ? I mean does he know Gaga ? Was he working with her or in rehearsal with her ?

This statement is coming from nowhere  :haha:

Though I always loved him as a musician. He's one of the best musician of his generation. And his voice is hot !

Actually, she spent all her money on the music video for her third single and included as many songs as possible because she knew the label was not going to support a record that nobody buys, but she still wanted to do so much with the album.

Also, she went on a huge tour and spread the message of being a creative person and embracing yourself. The era didn't end until late 2014.
