Yes, I think Born This Way became instantly recognizable. When people are in a store, and they see the CD, they might think, "I liked the song, maybe I should get the album." Look at "Cheek to Cheek", because TB+LG performed the title track at the Grammys it bumped the record from the high 100's to mid 50's on the Billboard 200. People were able to identify the record based on that performance alone. In that respect its a marvelous idea. (I don't count Born This Way, because that was hyped from the success of TFM) However, if she releases something catchy and relatable, like something along the lines of "You and I" or "Gyspy", I don't think branding will matter.
