Dubstep stopped being relevant like 3 years ago tho...she would get annihilated by critics and casual fans for being out of touch. Plus it wouldn't even sound good with her voice. If anything she needs to do house/deep house music to stay relevant if she plans on going an edm route

Edit: I listened to the second one. It isn't as terrible. The first one is just awful and sounds like a 2010 leftover. The second one would sound better with her voice. But it still sounds dated by like 4 years. If her album sounded like these songs she'd flop so bad

Well, both songs were released three years ago so it makes sense but either way, they make awesome music. Listen to Drink The Sea (the album) and IMO, it is amazing

sorry I didn't mean to come off so harsh. I just really don't understand why people want her to make dub step music. It's not just you. I know a lot of people here that think she should make really hard edm (dubstep and stuff like Diplo etc.) and it's just reallllllllllly dated. The edm community and club scene has already majorly moved away from hard electronics into house and deep house and disco inspired electronic. Literally all of my friends who go out in NYC to bars and clubs that spin electronic music laugh at how "dated and try hard" ARTPOP is. I'm not saying that. I love the album (even tho most songs sound like they were made in early 2012). But it's not what they are playing at clubs. It's not what is popular now. And going even more dated in terms of musical style would only make her more of a laughing stock

I don't want her to sell out. But it's getting aggravating going out and never hearing her. They used to play her multiple times a night at the clubs. Everyone would go crazy. My friend is a famous international touring DJ for gay & straight clubs and would get requests for her all the time. Now he doesn't even play her at all (unless someone asks for a throwback from TF/M). He has said no major clubs ever play ARTPOP (aside from DWUW during the single era). And that the clubs reaction to any ARTPOP songs is always EXTREMELY lukewarm. But of course if he throws on poker face they go insane. My point is that the music she used to make was timeless and ahead of trend. She made her own trends that no one could quite copy. And to jump on edm trends years after they peak will just lead to more lukewarm to bad reception and if she can't even attract the gays at a club (most of her fanbase and initial support) then who is going to buy the music on a large scale..?

Oh yes, I agree that dub step is dated. But in general, their music is great and if Gaga could work with them they can create cool music. Their album Drink The Sea has dance influences so I think that with them, Gaga could create a formula of a cool instrumental, melody, lyrics, and vocals to create an awesome track.
