The music video we know it was something so simple to be a Gaga video, and even after so many rumors and talk about the concept of it. I appreciate the video now because Gaga and her small team did everything in one week and it's a beautiful music video, it's simple and it's not something HUGE, but it is well done, it's better than many other music videos that we see today. I gotta be honest and say that I was a little disappointed because it was a hyped music video, and I kept expecting something big to happen or more scenes, but I thought it was quiet at first, then it grew on me. Yes, I know people are now like "Why can't people just understand that Gaga is not always going to have crazy music videos?" WELL, the music video was supposed to be big, and the simple explanation that "Gaga wanted something smaller now" is bull****, because things didn't go as they were planned and she had to record something quick, which I'm glad she did. It's not because I can't appreciate a simplistic video or I expect too much it's just because I don't find it great to watch. There's little replay value in the video for me. CatelynnMarie 4,406 Posted February 15, 2015 Share Posted February 15, 2015 It was supposed to be a huge, epic, mermaid-themed video, but Gaga and the director kept fighting so the director left, and Gaga had to scramble (i.e. rush-release) a new video together. They only had like 3 days for this, so we got the simple EOG video we have now. Basically this. I'm not sure about where everyone else is, but where I live a majority of people loved the video. gagzus 15,829 Posted February 15, 2015 Share Posted February 15, 2015 People expect every Gaga music video to be an intense spectacle and couldn't accept something simplistic basically this, no one outside the fanbase really gives a **** about the videos, so it's the fans own interpretation of it. personally, i like it, i don't love it but it doesn't overshadow the message of the song. the video would've been perfect if she included scenes inside an old rundown apartment with pictures of her grandparents and/or home videos of her grandpa or something tbh Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
