I hope this is a sarcastic post.

It's not. She is 56 and has had a good run, but it's over now. There's no room for sarcasm in that post.

finally.

I would have way more respect for Madonna if she stopped before MDNA and "Rebel Heart"

Like she would have a legacy but now she looks stupid.

Like the Grammys Red Carpet...What the Actual ****

And explain how its over? She is still doing VERY well and she clearly love what she does so why stop?

it does sound silly and discriminating, but all of these pop stars are a product of an ageist society, and they made their careers while they were young and cool, so it's only logical that they become the victims of the same ageism that helped them build their careers in the first place.

I get so sick of people saying Madonna should "retire her crown" and "stop continuing her career". She can wear whatever the hell she wants to at whatever age she wants to. She's been doing this for so long, it's obvious that it is who she is as a person and not just as an artist. Gaga will be doing the same things when she is older I'm sure and we can see what you will all say then. Let her do her thing as long as she wants as long as she is satisfied and being true to herself.

As for the ban on radio, it's just a business move obviously. Nothing more and nothing less.

Honestly, age doesn't matter as long as it sounds good. We're talking about *music* not modeling or acting.

She's not doing "VERY well" and if you're arguing that then you're just blind to the facts. I'm not trying to dig Madonna, she has had an unbelieveable career filled with high quality music. But as of the last few years there's been a very distinct decline in quality of music. I'm not saying Madonna should stop touring or recording music. I'm just suggesting that she should stop trying so desperately to appeal to the younger generations because she is quite honestly making a fool of herself and her music is suffering because of it.

I was gonna come at you for your former post but this up here, makes much more sense. I feel as this Rebel Heart concept is some sort of overview as well as a farewell to that part of her career. Hope I'm correct, she'll be above 60 by her next studio release!

Madonna was my favorite artist from 1986 to 2008, like someone said, that's a good long run. Unbelievable. Lady Gaga has been my #1 from 2008 to 2015, the start of a good long run. Madonna can do whatever she wants. But people also have the right to say she looks ridiculous if that's what they feel. She doesn't care. I still love Madonna's old stuff and I think her newer stuff is OK, just not memorable.
