Korkira 123 Posted February 13, 2015 Share Posted February 13, 2015 I think ARTPOP was such a celebrational sensation that even if she didn't have great vocals she would slay those charts. I was really surprised when she was singing jazz so great vocally that made me sort of a fan of that music genre. Enjoyed it, still do. She nailed it.... on ARTPOP the vocals have been computerized a little bit (i think), you can hear it... i.e. ARTPOP, Sexxx Dreams and even MANiCURE sound weird vocally. I also think that her next album should be all about her natural voice 'cause she so goood singer and she deserves to let that beautiful voice out and slay us! Better Day 5,766 Posted February 13, 2015 Share Posted February 13, 2015 I love her vocals on most tracks on ARTPOP. That's the thing about Gaga she has always experimented with her vocals. Her vocals aren't the same on every track. ARTPOP will forever be my favourite album because it has helped me through some tough times in my life the past year. If you say anything negative you will be reported. Thank you. My main point is her vocals (even though sometimes autotuned (but creatively (Aura, ARTPOP, Mary Jane Holland))) on point. The horns were trying to be so perfect that they sound flat and boring. 2. The drop before the chorus was ruined completely. Another example, MANiCURE: 1. Rushed vocals that are off tempo not even 10 seconds into the song. 2. The amazing heavy rock spirit was completely removed from the Swinefest version. 3. What happened to the cool bridge? Removed and changed. 4. What happened to the second half of the first verse? Ruined. ARTPOP is way TOO overproduced. It's your opinion that ARTPOP is inferior to Born This Way. Laughing at other people because their opinion differs from yours is not only disrespectful, but also a sign that you lack even the most basic skills in interpersonal relationships. I also think that Born This Way is better than ARTPOP, but I would never laugh at seomeone who thinks otherwise. Learn to respect other peoples opinions. First of all, I am not laughing at someone's opinion. They can think what they want. I was laughing at how overproduced the album is, if you read correctly. Don't tell me I lack something when you're the one who can't read correctly before trying to come for me.
