ˆThere's no such thing as too much synth. Take away the synthline of songs you love and you will se the difference (especially gaga's songs)

A lot of Gagas songs are Rock disguised by electronic instrumentation. For example , bad romance is a metal song in disguise.

Synthpop is still huge right now. Check ya girl Taylor Swift's little album called 1989. Plenty of Synthpop. Gaga's next one will have it too.

The awkward moment when you want to say goodbye to synthpop but Giorgio Moroder is the creator of the synthetizer.

all organic means is that she make a record thats effortless to her. thats conceptually sound and that she executes without it coming off tortured (i.e. Born This Way/ARTPOP). I think a lot of you focus so much on categorizations and genre and putting everything into a neat little box. Synthpop isn't one dimensional, music is not one dimensional. She doesn't need to strip herself bare and make some cliche grassroots record to prove something (which to some of you means an "acoustic" album), she just needs to make something good and real. Disco had synthesizers by the way....so.

I feel she shouldn't work with Kanye because his head has become inflated with self-love and arrogance

She also shouldn't work with William Orbit because he no longer produces music like from Ray of Light. He's also seems contemptible and just not a good fit for Gaga. He's old news and he just makes stuff for the money nowadays

If Gaga wants to go for a change of pace in her career, she should work with Arca, Röyksopp and Eg White in my opinion. She should also make only music written by herself only, I feel

Arca would make her sound really good. Experimentation is what I want. Also if she goes for the "organic" route Brian Eno would be a great choice.

Agreed, synthpop is so damn tired at this point. That's not to say she has to make a completely acoustic album but it should at least be driven by real instruments, with any electronic production taking more of a backseat. We don't need her to make her 50th dance song with loud grinding euro synths on this album.

So you were cool with her collabing with a s-x offender, but you would quit the fanbase if she collabed with a musical genius just cause he's a bit of a d*ck sometimes?

LOL Kanye West is not a flop sis. U should watch his Made In America performance. I used to think the same but damn that performance changed my mind.

I've been wanting her to ditch synthpop for a while now but I think she won't full ditch electronic sounds, hopefully she makes something similar to the production of BTD by Lana like instruments with an electronic/hip-hop edge
