She can't top all the other artists at the moment, sad but true. She can easily win this, really, she have a good voice, good character, but her songs are simply childish and basic.. But it's not like there's been any year where you could say she definitely deserved to win and was robbed Maybe DH this year at a stretch. You don't have to necessarily say, "oh I need to write a song the committee would love!", just say, "I want a song that changes people's minds about me. I'm gonna make a song that I love, my fans love, everyone". But instead she goes for the age group 8-14 Her music gets played on adult contemporary radio though. Adults love Katy. As much as monsters hate to admit it, Katy is loved by all age groups at a wide mass. Look at her tour sales, double dates in nearly every city, great album sales, great perfume, jewelry, and single sales. Katy appeals to all types of ages from children to the elderly. She has likable catchy music, a great personality, and just fits the all American girl singer type image. The general public lovers here. I think her music appeals to 4-84 tbh.
