Emma was my favourite thing in TASM and I really loved Andrew as Spiderman  .... but when Gwen died in TASM2 I felt how part of me died too and that death tho ... it's like running a footrace being the 1st in the group and then 1ft before the finish line someone outrun you

I hate how they changed her death from the comics. It takes away a lot from Peter Parker's character

In the comics it was mostly the same, but was set on the bridge (as we saw with Mary Jane in the Toby McGuire films) and

Gwen died because the whiplash of Peter's web snapped her neck. In the film she unarguably snapped her neck by hitting the floor. In the comics it being his fault would haunt Peter for a looooooooooooooong time and he would agonize over learning how to learn to catch falling people with his webs without killing them

oh and comics Gwen Stacy didnt really like Spiderman at all. Would've made some added tension

On a not really related note, this graph is cool

And you guys should go visit the very popular MCU thread :sis:

FOX can keep the X-Men, just give Marvel the Fantastic Four back. They need Dr Doom.

And also visit the comics thread :sis:

When the Nolan inspired "not Nolan inspired" reboot crashes and burns, I'm sure the internet talk will start and it will just be a matter of time then

But Fox and Marvel are not at all in same terms as Sony and Marvel so idk

I feel like Andrew Garfield was just a victim of ****ty plot, rather than being a bad Spiderman, I wonder if they'll go back to Tobey Maguire.

Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn
