craig 680 Posted February 8, 2015 Author Share Posted February 8, 2015 Notice that pop's darkest days were right before and after the teen pop boom circa 1999, Top 40 radio became pretty much unlistenable around 2003-2005 for anyone who didn't like hip-hip (meanwhile UK was enjoying some great pop that America missed out on).
