In my opinion, what Katy and her team do is the antithesis of what's wrong with the music industry today. Its too much about selling a product to the masses, and too little about delivering personal and dynamic performances/music. I don't mind if people like Katy or her music, but much of pop music seems to be diverging into something very artificial and plastic, and I see celebrities like Katy at the helm of this evolution. I don't say this to bash Katy or her fans; only to describe what I've observed over the last decade or so in the music industry as a whole. We're all Stronger Together!
