gagzus 15,889
she had translated her attitude from 2012 into the record? think about it, she had a LOT of negative media attention from the end of 2011 onward & only got some positive attention bc of her looks when she was told she HAD to look good. I strongly believe a sassy, attitude urban-dance-pop record could've been made instead of what we got tbh. More CLLG&Donatella sass, more DWUW epicness and MANiCURE catch-iness (although some may argue MANiCURE isn't catchy, i think it's overlooked on the record). thoughts? KingOfSpain 10,010
Her looks, wigs, clothes and makeup in 2012 were HER BEST. I wish she had all of those things back in the ARTPOP era and not that messy quick changes each week. http://gagadaily.com/forums/topic/227246-ceremony-gagas-videography-megarate/

Pop 4,541
The immature attitude from 2012 can be heard in songs like MANiCURE, Donatella, Fashion and Mary Jane Holland. They are all dreadful songs. The Taylor Brigade: KNOCKOUT

Pitch 204
I wish ARTPOP was more like Blackout I agree that i think thats where she was heading in 2012, but i think Troy tried to mess with it too much in 2013 so we ended up with an album that doesnt know whether its experimental or commercial LADY GAGA/madonna/katy perry/little mix/ariana grande/selena gomez/britney spears/taylor swift
Alfonso 1,549
No... +Ill keep ARTPOP how it its now, still my favorite gaga album
Gagz 2,579
No, I don't think so. Gaga didn't receive half the negative attention that Britney did in 2006. Blackout was Britney's triumph after a divorce, a breakdown and the world turning its back on her. Gaga really didn't go through that. The worst thing said about her in 2012 was that she was fat. If only the album had a clear direction, it either needed to be commercial or completely artistic. Her management screwed her over so much that we got some clear artistic vision which was smothered by the commercial elements thrown on top

I'll give you the first three songs but when you demean the godliness that is Mary Jane Holland, I die a little bit inside
