People do not understand Gaga is a Performance Artist and she plays different characters with her make up

This. People are basic as ****. They can't comprehend that she doesn't wear some stuff to look attractive. In their small minds all men and women dress to look good.

I'm referring to the 2nd comment. And all comments about when she's dressed "normal."

I really think they were just saying that cos they sees bare Gaga for a change.

Doesn't mean they are against what she wore.

The same way many of us think, that Gaga is pretty without make up, and we like that fact.

people are very hypocrite, that's what I think (not directed to the people who commented, who might just be doing a simple statement, but to the general public).

You see people praising "ugly" people with amazing talent, like they are some sort of gods who made it against all odds, and support them. But when it comes to Gaga (and not only), everyone agrees she should try to be more beautiful and theynever give themselves a chance to discover her talent because she's too weird or ugly with all that make up.

Yes, she does looks amazing without make up. But I love how she has always played around with what's considered s-xy or beautiful. If she looks ugly, it's on purpose, and I love it.

So, this is "Tragic" too?

Picasso  (60 million euros)

That's an actual piece of art though, so no.. It's not tragic.

I think there's a very big different between Gaga wearing make up, wigs and outfits and an actual work of art by someone like Picasso. You can't compare the two.

They probably don't understand that the make-up and costumes are part of her aesthetic. They also don't understand that it's not even her intention to look "better" with all of the theatrics on her face.

I think she looks the best when she got that feminine makeup she has on her latest pics

You are a mess. Just because you don't share the same view on art doesn't mean you have to get all immature and bratty.

The Venus stage was one of the most exciting moments in the era. While I appreciate Gaga's natural beauty, I love when she gets creative with her makeup.

That's what also makes me really mad about the way people perceive Gaga's fashion. She KNOWS she looks strange and unflattering when she puts giant moles and moustaches on her face. Some people can't get their head around a woman not wanting to look like a Barbie doll.

Thank you. I'm not being immature and bratty, although perhaps my last sentence was a little rude towards those who see Gaga as a piece of art.

I understand his point but imo, there's a big difference between the art of Picasso and the art of Gaga.

By the way, think of something more creative the next time you want to call me something. "Mess" isn't very original, since it's in my username.

I find it boring. People say it every time they see a pic of her without makeup on.

Don't get me wrong, she is beautiful, but it doesn't mean she should stick to a normal boring look all the time.

It's so funny to me that it's always the debate about "nature vs. artifice". Why can't we find both beautiful?! It's no competition. Both artificial as well as natural beauty has it's appeal.
