Her hard d--g use, looking back now, is a lot more noticeable then I would have ever realized then. Not to say she still wasn't pretty, she just looked like an extremely unhealthy skeleton. She now however looks like a beautiful mature healthy natural woman. Where she may have looked hot/edgy before, she now looks beautiful and happy and I'll take the latter any day. Even if it means she sometimes has a few extra pounds. Everyone who cuts up on their weight needs to look back at her old pictures. At some point between 2012 and 2013 she looked like a corpse wearing makeup :cry: The 2012 photos were also taken while she was touring, so that could be another reason why she was looking tired Yes.... I think that the BTWB Tour (which had a relentless and super long tour schedule) combined with the amount of d--gs she was doing.. presumably a lot of drinking and smoking pot... she really didn't look good and healthy. she looked really out of it and not in her body. She looks so much better now :saira: She definitely looks far healthier and happier I really do think so..... I think she has gone through a major transformation and is in such a better place than she was in 2012 & 2013... Considering this, it kind of makes me think that this is why ARTPOP ultimately failed... because she wasn't in a really good, solid, inspired place internally... Not like she was at the beginning of her career. Personally, I think her next album will probably be her best album, because she's in such a better place in her mindset, in her body, in her health, well being, confidence, AND vocal ability.. I think she's at the top of her game these days as a vocalist, and I think it will really translate to a truly epic next album. I mean this in the nicest way possible. I dunno why fans always make **** up when it comes to her body. She's never been anorexic or fat, just average weight. She WAS practically anorexic during TFM days, check out her performance of BR at the jingle bell ball back then... Not about the weightgain, but the underlying cause of it. She just seemed out of touch with herself in a way, the fact that she was on d--gs and alcohol was pretty obvious to me. She was the same beautiful person as always, but she seemd lost and troubled. She seemed to cling onto monsters a bit too much as well, I dunno, it's hard to explain. She probably was pysically and mentally exhausted from all the past years. She looks like herself again and happpyier then ever. I do hope she steers away from taping her face. Yes she was maybe a bit too thin at that one point, but that's the only time she ever looked like that. Every other point in her career she's been a healthy weight.
