Most people don't because there's no time for sound checks and the sound is ususally bad when you can't set it up properly. Bruno, Beyonce... many more For me, there is no excuse to not sing live, it's 2015, any "tehnical difficulty" can be managed properly, especially on THAT level ( I mean, SuperBowl..) So maybe they want to avoid any criticism on her singing and that's why they might use a pre-recorded track. It's hard to light a candle, easy to curse the dark instead. It was a technical difficulty. They revealed that she was planning on lip syncs.
