If this is true and is executed properly, I honestly think that it would make an incredibly insightful and educational show. There's still a lot of ignorance surrounding/towards the transgender community and hopefully, if E! did it right, they could help raise awareness on a lot of the struggles that people who have or are transitioning face.

I say that for the purposes of this thread we should use female pronouns because we're debating something that is potentially true and it's out of courtesy to respect that even if it's just a rumor for now.

TMZ is usually VERY reliable.

I think people will see the situation less as a transwoman seeking attention as a Kardashian and more as a Kardashian seeking attention as a transwoman, as most people would deem it to be a matter of attention anyway. It wouldn't pose much of a stigma against the trans community as it would against the Kardashians. It would certainly bring more awareness though, and might incite people to want to be more educated or to want to educate others.
