Do artists have to get down on their hands and knees and sing the PRAISES of other artists to the point of idol worship for anything they say not to be seen as shade? Madonna obviously loves and has in some way shape or form collaborated with most of the female "princesses" out there. I said "subtly" and put a question mark followed by an "idk" because I'm not certain it was subtle shade or not. Also I didn't make it the central focus of the thread. Obviously Madonna likes them as she has collaborated with them this last year and they both pass praise to each other vice versa on instagram. I mean Madonna pretty much gave Katy's career a huge boost when she dropped her name during a radio interview back in 2008 when asked about her favorite song at the moment and she mentioned Katy Perry, and the DJ's were laughing like who the hell is Katy Perry. Everyone knows now. I think this might be the first time we ever heard her comment on Taylor, though I could be wrong. That's not true actually. Katy was already promoted extensively by Perez Hilton, and Madonna mentioned her in an interview promoting Hard Candy. Now, if she couldn't even boost her own album with that radio interview, I don't see how she could give a boost to somebody else. this is typical Madonna fans nonsense made up to make her look more powerful than she is.
