Do monsters exaggerate the difference between Aura and its demo?

I see everyone on here saying : Aura demo was SOOOO good it would've been her 4th #1 as a lead single. Would have flopped if they released the album version though.

I'm fairly sure that's exaggerated. I'm certain people won't even notice the difference between the demo and the album version. She kinda shouts more on the demo but that's it. Everyone acts as if it's a completely different song when really there's not much of a difference

So do monsters exaggerate the difference between Aura and its demo or am I just delusional?

The instrumental is exactly the same, yes. But the vocals ... that first verse (which is the best one). The demo sounds like a raging, fierce and defiant woman defending her choices and right to make them. The album version sounds like ... It doesn't even sound like Gaga. It sounds like a 14 year-old girl with an OTT drawl trying to sound aluring. And the second verse change "Iz not a change as mush a mooouuve of passhon"!

The vocal change is so stark and different that I found it incredibly jarring and it ruined my enjoyment of the song (particularly as I found the first verse one of the strongest elements sonically and lyrically).

So to answer the question: no, I don't believe that Monsters do exaggerate when it comes to the difference between Aura Demo and Aura Album.

The demo evokes powerful b---h vibes the one on the record makes me think wimpy hoe whining to mommy

I am gonna be honest, I have only listened to the album version a COUPLE of times, I can't STAND the vocals it's like my 8th favorite on the album but if it were demo it's number 1

I personally like the album version better bc the demo just feels messier, I like the idea of the drunken and slightly s-xualised tone her voice has, BUT I do prefer the almost non-existent BGVox in the demo chorus.

And yea, they do over exaggerate especially even so much as thinking the song would enter even top 40.

And as for the so called "screamo" vocals they clearly have never heard death metal with actual screamo vocals
