Bobby: Plans change in this business all the time

"sharing an idea out of passion or excitement and "promising" something are two very different things" - been saying this for a while now. Most people believe she's promising something when in fact she's sharing her creative process or her plans. She feels like we're part of her team and wants us happy, that's why she shares her creations before they're finished.

Nope. We get lyrics from time to time, sometimes from songs that will be out in a year or that we never hear. These lyrics are from a song that we will all hear when the doc comes out on CNN later this spring.

Since you think the song sounds bad anyway and you "don't really care", you are just commenting just to whine and complain. Typical.

I guess that is fair enough. It's just frustrating that after days and days of excitement about an 'anthem' and one of the best songs Diane has ever heard they don't make it available for any of her fans to hear. But it is a great cause she made it for and I'm sure we will hear it one day.

Istg this fanbase acts so entitled sometimes. Never did Gaga or her team mention is was going to be released. Maybe it was her initial intention - maybe she changed her mind, who cares?! Everyone hyped this up themselves and you can't blame Gaga - so what she tweeted lyrics, she was excited for the premiere of a song to raise awareness of something personal to her. If you want to hear the song so damn much then go and see it in ****ing theatres when it's released.

Gaga sent out two matter of fact tweets about the song hours before the film premiered. She seriously couldn't have hyped it any less than she did, unless she just completely ignored it.

And it was "something", it is an actual song that she recorded for a documentary about a subject that she has been affected by personally.

once again the song will be in the film so all her fans will hear it once the doc is released in march.

We will hear it in a few months

It's just that Gags made it seem like we were going to hear it like, today

She said the song will "premiere" today. Only she didn't mean it premieres for us, but premieres for the movie audience

Which really just shows that she should speak more clearly

Release dates are decided by the record label, not the artist. Blame Interscope on that one.

I'm not blaming Gaga necesarily. She clearly is not the only person in charge of this stuff. But she is the messenger who could clear stuff up. As a fan, I just want to know prior to the release date that a project has been canceled. I think that's pretty reasonable.

Just to be clear, I am not referring TIHTY at all. She didn't even say we were getting that. I'm only referring to things that had official announcements (the latest example being the Eau De Gaga USA release).

This. For every post expressing disappointment, there is 100 "meltdown" spammers. Like people feed off this sh*t.

I remember there was this one Gaga performance I didn't like, and I was the only one in the thread that felt the way, the suddenly bam, pages and pages of "meltdown" spammers until there is no one that even knows who was disappointed in the first god damn place (me).

There is this group on GGD on act like guardian angels and whose job is to pick out disappointed people and publicly shame them. Literally, on every thread this what they will do. They would be happy to get an album of just 1 hour of recorded silence by Gaga. Why can't they just mind their own business? Let me tell you, these are not fans at ALL they don't care enough to get disappointed or ever let themselves have a real opinion. Worst of all they have a gaga avatar. Just disturbing.

I noticed this too

Then when I made a comment about it one of the white knights came in all offended saying that complaining about the fans is okay and that I just didn't get it :fan:

It's funny that they shame the people who complain while they are doing the same thing, only they are turning against people in the same situation as them

this. everyone thought she meant that we would be able to at least stream the song or something.. the way she tweeted was extremely misleading...thats personally what bothers me about this all. I wouldn't be mad if gaga or Bobby or Diane said "hey you can hear it when the film comes out" or something to that effect. Even with bobby's tweet, it so general that unless you know exactly what he is talking about it doesn't mean anything.... like what changed? is it still in the move? it won't be released? he assumes that we knew the plan from the get-go... I just wish gaga could be a bit more transparent when she gives such exciting news.

Lol

Literally look at the comment under yours

first sentence sis :awkney:

Why don't you just admit that she was in the wrong instead of defending her over and over when she clearly is in the wrong here

So what? We still stand by her
