Phlop 4,773
the only impact she's had is the comical aspect of her lack of talent seriously you cant even disagree, she got an awful metacritic score which pretty much proves her lack of talent, and she can't get a hit on her own, she can barely get a hit with someone else on it. She really hasn't changed hip hop and you're deluded if you think she has. Metacritic is not a basis for talent BYE

ItsTommyBitch 12,640
People here not actually considering it She didn't create a brand for herself or earn a ton of respect, but she got people thinking regardless When will your previously-unknown fave 私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから

Rat Boy 41,730
Okay... The few people that agree with her probably don't know what real hip-hop actually is and barely listen to it. Her quote would only apply to people like Tupac. "Rat Boy's a nasty, trashy, sleazy, classless"- River

mAnster 26
She makes urban pop music. She needs to go away with this mess. Black Widow was partially written by Katy Perry for f*cks sake. I do not understand how people can claim they are producing quality hip hop music these days. Hip Hop... the culture of turntables, emcees, graffiti, and breakdancing, is not what I hear on the radio. It is pop music. Does she make catchy pop music? Hell yes. Is she even remotely making an impact on hip hop culture? No. Huge boobs and large butts have been around for years. Want Hip Hop? Look up Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five. Look up how Hip Hop expanded within the ghettos as a means to escape from the lives they were living. The generation from which Hip Hop was born dealt with social, economic, political, (etc.) issues and the art form was a means to vent. They had to steal turntables in order to expand. They used what they could to have a voice. Hip Hop is made in state of the art studios nowadays for the most part, yes, but these artists on the radio aren't saying anything. Screw gold, and body, and alcohol, and all the other crap they talk about. Tell me something substantial.
gypsygay 69
I do LOVE Iggy but let's not go saying you have changed an entire genre. You have released one amazing full length and a re-release that in my opinion is not very good at all. I'm shocked people even like Beg For It that much. Get another successful full length under your belt and then we will talk
